Hello....I know on my web site I have 29 general tips on home selling, but I need to focus on one at the moment, as it is fresh in my mind....
Last week I was out showing homes to non-contingent buyers. Buyer was looking at the Fox Valley median price point, about 125k.
You always have been told about de-clutter and de-personalize....well, I've now had buyers that were more offended than seeing the occasional deer-head or stuffed animal in the trophy collection.
Whereas it was animal related, not quite like these other animals, instead it was urns of past pets the seller, and the cremated remains of them, in a display in the living room.
This does not rise to the level of having a political sign in the front yard, but definitely not advisable. Please people remove your pets during showings, both the live ones and the ones dear to your heart as buyers feel like they are intruding and cannot pplace themselves within the home.
